A little over a month ago I attended the Labor Notes Conference. On day two, my colleague Grace and I, alongside Nurse Erica and other dedicated labor workers, stood together in solidarity, reminded that "when we fight, we win!" It was an incredibly eye-opening experience. This sense of unity is powerful, but it also highlights a persistent issue: the unfair pay that nurses across the country face every day. We gathered crucial information and forged connections, all with a singular purpose—to fight for fair pay. Our work is vital, and we deserve to be compensated fairly.

Nurses form the backbone of the healthcare system, providing essential care and support. Still, many of us struggle to make ends meet. This isn’t just a local problem—it's a national crisis. We must unite to demand comprehensive changes in nurse compensation. Let’s urge policymakers, healthcare institutions, and CEOs to recognize and rectify this inequality.
