The National Health Service (NHS Professionals) has reportedly refused to provide back payment to all bank staff, a decision that has sparked outrage and calls for justice. These hardworking individuals have dedicated their time and effort to ensure the smooth running of our healthcare system, often working overtime and under challenging conditions. It is only fair that they receive the compensation they are due. 

According to a report by the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), bank staff make up approximately 20% of the nursing workforce in England. They play a crucial role in maintaining staffing levels during peak times and ensuring patient care is not compromised ("Bank Nurses", RCN, 2019). Denying them their rightful back payment not only undermines their contribution but also threatens morale within the NHSP. 

We urge those in authority at the NHSP to reconsider this decision immediately. By doing so, they will be acknowledging the invaluable work done by these professionals and upholding principles of fairness and equity within our healthcare system.
