Demand Equal Visibility for All YouTube Channels Regardless of Popularity

The Issue

My name is Shadow Wolf, and I run a YouTube channel called 'Shadow Gaming'. Over the years, I have felt an increasing sense of neglect from YouTube. It seems like my channel isn't recommended as much because it isn't as popular. This is not about seeking fame but about fairness – the same treatment that every content creator deserves.

YouTube has over 2 billion logged-in users each month, with more than 500 hours of video uploaded every minute (source: YouTube Official Blog). With such a vast user base and content diversity, it's crucial that all channels get equal visibility regardless of their popularity status.

My gaming content is designed for adult audiences and contains profanity; it's not intended for children. Yet despite adhering to community guidelines and creating engaging content, my videos aren't getting the recognition they deserve in terms of views or recommendations.

I believe this issue affects many other small creators who are struggling to gain visibility amidst larger channels. We need to bring back the old days when everyone's channel mattered equally on YouTube.

It's time we demand fair treatment from YouTube - where every creator matters irrespective of their popularity status. Sign this petition if you stand with us in our fight for equality on this platform.
