The Issue

17 million children in the U.S. live without their biological fathers.
This isn’t just a statistic—it’s a crisis rooted in a broken family court system that punishes fathers and damages children.

85% of youth in prison come from fatherless homes

63% of teen suicides involve children from father-absent households

Children without their dads are 4 times more likely to live in poverty

We are not criminals. We are fathers.
And we are tired of being silenced, alienated, and erased.

I’m Eric Freeland—a father with a traumatic brain injury who has been battling a system that calls itself just but refuses to protect my parental rights. And I know I’m not alone.

Every day across America, fathers walk into family courts and walk out broken.
They are presumed unfit, denied due process, and pushed out of their children's lives—often without evidence, without a hearing, and without justice.

We are fathers, sons, veterans, workers, and human beings. We matter. And we are done being treated like criminals for wanting to be in our children’s lives.

Family courts across all 50 states are:

Violating due process, denying hearings or evidence submission

Allowing false accusations with no accountability

Failing to enforce visitation and custody orders

Ignoring or denying ADA accommodations for fathers with disabilities like PTSD, TBI, or cognitive challenges

Applying court rules unfairly based on gender bias

These violations are not just wrong—they are unconstitutional.

We Demand the Following Nationwide Reforms:

1. Equal Shared Parenting Presumption in all custody cases unless abuse is proven.

2. Enforcement of Court Orders—with real consequences for interference or obstruction.

3. ADA Compliance in Family Court, including accommodations for disabled fathers.

4. Accountability for False Allegations used to sever parental bonds.

5. Equal Access to Services like counseling, shelters, and legal aid for fathers.

6. Oversight and Discipline for Judges and Lawyers who break the rules or weaponize the system.

The Constitution doesn’t stop at the doors of Family Court. Our children need us. We are standing up.

Please sign and share. For every father denied his voice, and every child denied their dad.
