Joseph Eiler was more than just my brother; he was a loving and dedicated father to two beautiful young girls. These girls will now face a childhood without the love and guidance of their father, solely due to the heinous act carried out by Ashley Otero Averett, Joseph’s (ex)girlfriend. She is accused of murdering him in cold blood while he innocently slept, dismembering his body, burying it in multiple locations in the yard and subsequently attempting to cover up this brutal crime. Ensuring justice for Joseph is not only a personal mission for me but also a crucial step in securing a semblance of peace and closure for his daughters.

The pain of losing a loved one is indescribable, and the loss we feel is deeply compounded by the thought of Joseph's daughters growing up without their father's presence. They won't have him there to teach them life’s little lessons, celebrate their triumphs, or comfort them in times of distress.
