The ongoing conflict in Palestine has resulted in countless civilian casualties and widespread destruction. According to the United Nations, the overall death toll from the ongoing Israeli military offensive in Gaza is more than 35,000 people. Citing Gaza's Health Ministry, the U.N. says 7,797 of those deaths were children. Additionally, the United Nations recorded more than 200 Israeli attacks on schools in Gaza. We are in the midst of a genocide. This humanitarian crisis demands immediate action from our leaders.
