As a concerned resident of Stewart County, TN, the conduct of District 1 Commissioner, Brian Tiebor, has become unacceptable and alarming to me. Commissioner Tiebor has recently misrepresented facts and falsely accused a deputy - an act of slander that not only dishonors his office but violates the trust of the community he serves.

The seriousness of this issue came to light when body cam footage disputed Commissioner Tiebor's narrative. This public contradiction revealed that his allegations were falsehoods, an incident which breaches our code of ethics as layed out in T.C.A. § 8-17-106(b).

This wrongful act by a public servant, whom we rely on for unbiased governance, should not and cannot be tolerated. Public duty demands uncompromising truthfulness and integrity, a standard Commissioner Tiebor failed to meet. Stewart County deserves a representative in District 1 who is committed to justly upholding state and federal laws, and who works cohesively with all agencies for the betterment of the county.

Misrepresentation not only damages public trust, it hinders effective governance. We must eliminate it at all levels to maintain the integrity of our democratic system. It's time for Commissioner Brian Tiebor to accept responsibility for his actions.

Therefore, I call on relevant authorities to demand the resignation of Commissioner Tiebor, starting the process of restoring honesty and faith in the District 1 office.
