Living in Virginia Beach, my children's safety is my utmost priority. It's alarming that the neighborhoods where children play, learn, and grow are being overshadowed by the violent activities emerging from Central 111 and Venue 112. In the last year, there have been terrifying incidents, including multiple shootings and devastating homicides, which are directly linked to the operations of these establishments.

Central 111 and Venue 112, located in a shopping center amidst family neighborhoods, have become epicenters of violence. Just this past Friday, our community witnessed a shocking scene where a deceased body was left uncovered in the parking lot until 10:30 a.m., further proving the chaos these venues bring into our surroundings.

As residents of Virginia Beach, it's critical for us to ask our local government for an immediate review and closure of these venues. The stakes are too high to ignore. Lives, especially those of our innocent children, should never be at risk because of reckless and dangerous nightclub operations.

Our neighborhoods should be a sanctuary of peace, not fear. We deserve tranquility and safety in our everyday lives, something these establishments have been stripping from us. It is time for the authorities to take decisive action.
