Keir Starmer's leadership has brought Labour to lose council elections in big number, and lose Hartlepool MP by-election, that had always been Labour since that voting area began.
Television did not give equal coverage to new parties on the Left, as an alternative to Labour. So millions of people simply did not come out to vote at all.
People who had always voted Labour, now felt Labour was too much Tory now, and did not know about alternatives to vote for.
Starmer's Labour (other than a small minority of MPs) agreed, by abstaining, in laws that are coming from this Tory government that will make UK into a formal dictatorship, permanently.
Labour had already agreed with the Spycops bill (The Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Act 2021) already passed and Lady Chakrabarti says (who was shadow attorney general for England and Wales from 2016 to 2020, and director of Liberty from 2003 to 2016)... "grants a host of state agencies the power to licence its agents and officers to commit grave crimes in advance ... in the United Kingdom."... and passed even though ...the "UK Parliament’s Joint Committee on Human Rights said that the proposed law should not be introduced in its current form, due to the “major human rights concerns” relating to the possibility of “state sanctioned crimes such as rape, murder or torture being carried out under authorisation”. ...

3. Online Safety Bill. According to Free Speech Union defined the bill as ..."the government’s plans “will restrict online free speech to a degree almost unprecedented in any democracy”. ...
