On this day 1/9/25 it was brought to the attention of wrestling parents on the Iowa Youth Wrestling Facebook page that a biological male will be competing in the 3rd/4th grade 115lb GIRLS division at the Iowa/USA Wrestling Kids State Folkstyle Championships . Biological females deserve to know they are competing against other biological females. They deserve to have the mental ans physical security in knowing they can compete safely without being burdened by the fear of being labeled transphobic and hateful. Whether it be an 8 year old or an 18 year old we need to stand for the right of females to compete against their own gender. This is just the beginning and I urge you to sign this petition with the intent to save women's sports.
