To Berkeley County: Our houses shouldn’t have to shake every time an 18-wheeler, a Knight’s cement truck, or any other big-rig truck goes by! CDL drivers continuously break the law and speed on Hodge Road.   

Hampton Woods neighborhood and many other homes have been added off Hodge Road now making this a residential area! The speed limit is 30, yet many of these CDL truck drivers are driving Hodge Road like they’re on a highway!

Speed radar signs, police presence and enforcement of the speed limit is needed or these 18-wheeler trucks should be forced to take McQueen Boulevard and make Hodge Road a No Thru Truck Zone. 

They are being absolutely disrespectful and breaking the law by speeding through this residential area every single weekday!
