The team has repeatedly missed the postseason, struggled to develop depth, and lacked a cohesive and long term vision. Wasting the prime years of historic players is both disappointing and inexcusable.
Most concerning are recent comments from Moreno suggesting that “winning is not in the top five” priorities for fans. Statements like this are unacceptable from the leader of a Major League Baseball franchise.
Affordability, safety, and the fan experience absolutely matter, but so does winning. Competitive excellence is not optional; it is the foundation of professional sports.
