Asalamalakum. I am deeply saddened by the plight of our Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine, who are suffering due to the military aid we provide through our tax dollars. This aid is being used to commit further atrocities against innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, including children. Over 8,000 Palestinian civilians have lost their lives so far, among them more than 3,250 children - a horrifying consequence of Israel's brutal military campaign.

This situation is personal for me as it involves our family - our cousins, nieces and nephews who are dying because of the decisions made by those in power. It's time for us to stand up against this injustice. We must oppose any new military aid to Israel that would only fuel further violence and loss of innocent lives.

The world cannot stand by while such atrocities continue unabated. Now is the time for action; now is the time for a ceasefire. Let us raise our voices together and demand an immediate end to this violence and a halt on all future military aid that contributes towards it.
