Demand an External Investigation of Interior Health Administration Conduct in the Cariboo

The Issue

My story begins with personal experiences of bullying, harassment, and being targeted by local management because I stood up to their bias, mismanagement, and unprofessionalism. As a resident and worker in the Cariboo, BC, Canada, I feel the effects of such negative management culture firsthand.

You'll notice I am identifying as Cariboo Jane Doe... This is because I am a current Interior Health Employee, and I would be FIRED for speaking out due to Interior Health's "gag orders". These experiences are not unique to me, highlighting a systemic issue that requires immediate attention.

The situation concerns the Interior Health Administration, Leadership, and Management in Cariboo, who show negligence towards the psychological health and safety of workers. In a country like Canada, where work-related stress costs the economy $33 billion per year (according to the Mental Health Commission Canada), this issue is urgent.

We, the Cariboo communities, the taxpayers, and the workers, are DEMANDING an external investigation into the conduct of these health officials. It is crucial to understand the extent of their transgression and to instigate changes that will protect workers. This is not only a matter of preserving worker's rights', but also a prerequisite to maintaining quality health services for the community.

Your signature will be a step towards ensuring dignity, fair treatment, and psychological health and safety for workers under the Interior Health Administration in Cariboo. Together, we can make our demand heard and effect the necessary change.

Let's show Interior Health what CARIBOO STRONG really means.
