As a resident closely affected by the planned development at 70 Old Ipswich Rd and 11 Brisbane Rd, Riverview 4303, the prospect of additional residential properties without additional infrastructure is concerning. With the surge in dwellings come the inevitable increase in vehicles, which will quickly overcrowd our existing roads. The lack of adequate parking for both residents and visitors will not only disrupt our community but also potentially pose safety concerns for all especially our children and older residents. 

Figures show that the addition of each dwelling typically results in at least two or more cars on the road. With 55 new properties, it isn't difficult to imagine the immense burden this will place on our already limited streets.

The current roads and parking arrangements can barely accommodate our community as is. The proposed development plan, without the addition of a new access road, threatens to exacerbate this issue.

We're calling on the relevant governing authorities and development planners to consider our concerns and include an additional access road from Brisbane (service) Road.
