Falcon Warbirds Foundation
Veterans' Foundation is
standing up to the Airport
Administration's corruption.
01-18-2024
Mesa, AZ - With over a decade of mismanagement, the
Falcon Warbirds Foundation is leading the Community in a call
to action.
After the September 2023 storm damage, this Veterans' Nonprofit was locked
out of the World War II Historic Landmark hangar based on zero defaults. On
October 4, 2023, the Airport Director responded, "The notary that notarized this
lease retired from the City; the lease signer's signature doesn't matter now." On
the same day, the Airport Director had a 90-year-old pilot file dissolution of the
organization at the Arizona Corporation Commission. The ACC rejected the
dissolution filing within 13 days, while the Airport Director created an
Assignment of the Lease for the Joint Liability Tenant without the Falcon
Warbirds Leaseholder's consent or signature.
Bad Faith
The Airport Director knew the elderly pilot was responsible for the mid-air
collision in March 2023 from the NTSB report. She also knew he was removed
from the Board of Directors in August 2023 for channeling the Foundation's
funds to the Joint Liability Tenant. In December 2023, the Airport Director
placed the Falcon Warbirds' property outside, causing damage in the rainy
weather. January 2024, the Airport Director is claiming nonpayment of rent from
the storm displacement hangars because the wrong payment stubs were used.
All checks have cleared since September 2023.
Perseverance & Integrity
Meanwhile, The Falcon Warbirds completed five missing man flights for
Veterans' Parades without access to airplane tools and supplies in November
2023. They were also awarded a grant from the Safeway Foundation to
continue its mission on Veterans Day. Plans are to sponsor two youth campers
for the Oshkosh Airshow Camp in July 2024.
To Take Action
The Falcon Warbirds started an online petition that has collected over 270
signatures in less than two weeks. That is more than the number of signatures
to run for a council member seat in Mesa. The Foundation is making a
reasonable request to the City Manager and City Council to start the accountability process for the Airport Director and her accomplices. Discover documents, images, videos, and audio recordings on the Falcon Warbirds
Foundation's website, with new information uploaded daily.
About Us
The Falcon Warbirds Foundation is a Veterans Nonprofit that started flying
missing man formations for fallen soldiers at the National Cemetery. Today, the
organization has grown to provide a shared space for the public to access a
World War II Historical Landmark at the Falcon Field Airport.
