I am a concerned citizen, living on E Minnesota Ave, right in the heart of our beloved McCloud, CA, USA. I write this petition, not only as an individual deeply disturbed by the deplorable conditions in our community, but on behalf of all my neighbors, those who, like me, have had to witness an intolerable deterioration in the living conditions of our residential alleyway. This part of our town, once peaceful and friendly, has become a breeding ground for crime, unauthorized residing, and constant animal nuisance, neglect, and abuse shattering the tranquility of our lives.

Our neighborhood is suffering not only from the apparent disregard for basic code ordinances but also from the burgeoniing crime rates and cases of elder neglect that came along with it. Our alleyway, once a safe passage, now stands as a symbol of lawlessness and disorder that no citizen should have to accept. It is affecting the safety, well-being and community's overall quality of life - issues we cannot and will not overlook.

The responsibility for maintaining law and order lies with our local authorities, mainly the Siskiyou County Sheriffs Department. It is their duty to ensure our streets are safe and free from crime. The time for semantic promises has passed; we require tangible action.

I implore you, as fellow residents of McCloud and victims of these appalling conditions, to join me in calling on Siskiyou County Sheriffs Department to stand up to their responsibilities. It's time for immediate intervention, consistent oversight, and decisive action to rectify these issues. Let us reclaim our town from the clutches of crime and restore the safe and harmonious community we once had.
