Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya is the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), one of Nigeria's largest Pentecostal denominations, with congregations and a "Prayer City" headquarters in the United States. Before he is welcomed on his next visit to the U.S., the public deserves to know about a documented pattern of serious harm connected to his leadership.

**A wrongful, multi-year imprisonment.** In 2008, three men — Femi Jimoh, Henry Aiyewero, and Caleb Oloruntele — were arrested and charged with conspiring to rob MFM. They spent roughly eight and a half years in detention before a Lagos State High Court acquitted and discharged all three in 2016, ruling that the prosecution had failed to prove its case. Femi Jimoh died in August 2026, reportedly from complications tied to the abuse he says he suffered in custody.

**A pattern of abuse allegations, met with lawsuits instead of answers.** Nigeria's anti-trafficking agency, NAPTIP, confirmed in 2025 that it received a petition alleging sexual abuse and exploitation linked to Dr. Olukoya, and its Director-General ordered an investigation. Multiple women — including the widow of a late MFM minister and a former congregant — have since come forward publicly with their own accounts of sexual harassment or assault. Rather than face independent investigation, several of these women have been hit with defamation lawsuits worth hundreds of millions of naira.

**An unexplained death at MFM's flagship site.** In July 2025, a woman was found dead at MFM's Prayer City auditorium in an apparent suicide. Police confirmed the death but never established an official cause — raising further questions about oversight at the facility.

We are asking U.S. authorities to review Dr. Olukoya's admissibility and apply appropriate scrutiny to any visa or entry request, given this documented record, before he is permitted to travel and minister freely in the United States.
