Demand Accountability: Immediate Resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

The future of millions of Indian students is at a breaking point. On July 18, 2026, we witnessed the disturbing removal of climate activist and education reformist Sonam Wangchuk from the protest site at Jantar Mantar. Despite his peaceful, indefinite hunger strike, he was forcefully shifted to a hospital, further silencing the voices of those demanding justice for examination irregularities.

We, the undersigned, are no longer willing to watch our future being compromised. We demand:

1. Immediate Resignation: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must step down, taking moral responsibility for the systemic failures and mismanagement of recent examinations.

2. Accountability & Reform: A high-level judicial inquiry into exam scandals and a total overhaul of the system.

3. Respect for Democracy: An end to the suppression of peaceful protests. The treatment of Sonam Wangchuk is a direct attack on the democratic right to dissent.

लाखों भारतीय छात्रों का भविष्य आज खतरे में है।  18 जुलाई 2026 को हमने जंतर-मंतर पर सोनम वांगचुक जी के साथ जो हुआ, वह देखा है। वे शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से भूख हड़ताल पर थे, लेकिन उन्हें जबरन अस्पताल भेज दिया गया। यह उन लोगों की आवाज़ दबाने की कोशिश है जो शिक्षा प्रणाली में सुधार की मांग कर रहे हैं।

हम, नीचे हस्ताक्षर करने वाले, अब और चुप नहीं बैठेंगे। हमारी मांगें स्पष्ट हैं:

1. तत्काल इस्तीफा: शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान को परीक्षा घोटालों और कुप्रबंधन की नैतिक जिम्मेदारी लेते हुए अपने पद से इस्तीफा देना चाहिए।
