As a deeply concerned citizen of Grundy, VA, I am personally witnessing the devastating impact of an unjust system on low-income families and single parents. Our local social services are allegedly targeting these vulnerable groups without warrants or evidence. Children are being removed from their homes and placed into foster care for what appears to be financial gain. This is not just an isolated incident; it's a recurring pattern in Buchanan County.

Did you know that CPS & DHS Budgets are determined by how many children they "place" in Foster care rather than how many children & parents are reunited? 
Our county has become notorious for such actions. The people with authority who should be protecting us seem to be safeguarding the interests of social services instead. They are allowing our families to be torn apart while they benefit financially from government funding. 

Start here! Let's do this! Let this revolution STARTED with the most corrupt town I have ever came to know in my life. Buchanan county, Virginia.  A place where no dreams come true.  A place where the law does not apply to low income people. These social workers do not do what is in best interest of any child, they do as they please without any consequences. 
We need to hold these social workers accountable for their actions that have caused irreparable harm to our community's fabric and childrens futures.

We also demand accountability from the judges, police officers, CASA, and guardian ad litems, who enable this system by turning a blind eye towards these injustices. It goes up the ladder and ends at the governor who does nothing.  Governor Youngkin, please, investigate this, it is happening every day to hundreds of children who are loved at home but are being sold to the foster parents who seem to have higher incomes and closer friendships with social workers. They turn a blind eye to the illegal actions of social services for personal gain, they want to keep the kids they get and are paid handsomely to. Foster parents help to sobatage good parents so social services will continue paying for their fancy lifestyles.

It will break your heart when you hear stories of innocent families being destroyed by the family court system, especially in Buchanan and Tazewell counties. Facebook is full of parents who are pleading for their children to be given back to them because they worked their plan, jumped through every hoop and social services, still refused to allow them to progress so the plan for reunification changes to adoption. 

This petition seeks justice for all those poor families that have been wronged by this corrupt system in southwest Virginia.  We call upon our state representatives and legal authorities to investigate these allegations thoroughly and take necessary action against those found guilty. Lock them up! Overturn cases where there is no proof of abuse or neglect. I promise there are tons of open cases where the parents did not commit any atrocities against their children but because cps workers say it, it must be true. It's not true!
