The Issue

Here at the flats on maple street The property manager has been a consistent source of stress and frustration for residents. Experiencing a slew of intolerable conditions, including inadequate air conditioning and recurring infestations of gnats, plumbing problems has made life unbearable. Additionally, water supply disruptions occurring weekly further exacerbate the issue. The property owner's disrespectful attitude towards residents only adds fuel to the fire. Doors being locked on tenants, increased rent and sewer bills, and retaliatory actions have left many in a state of despair.

One of the most concerning practices is the issuance of seven-day eviction notices without court proceedings, which intimidates and scares tenants. Residents who dare to report these conditions to code enforcement agencies often find themselves banned from the leasing office. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and warrants immediate action.

Property owners and property managers in Atlanta must be held accountable for their actions. There needs to be a clear and enforceable set of guidelines ensuring safe and fair living conditions for tenants. Regular inspections by city officials and stringent penalties for violations could serve as deterrents. Furthermore, an independent body should be instituted where tenants can report grievances without fear of retaliation.

Everyone deserves to live in a safe and respectful environment. By signing this petition, as a resident I’m calling for the local authorities in Atlanta to investigate these unethical practices and take action to protect tenants. Please sign and share this petition to demand justice and dignity for all residents here at the flats on maple street location in Atlanta ga 55 maple street Atlanta ga 30314
