Over the past 2 years, Business Insider has repeatedly exposed the history of child abuse and grooming that was allowed to occur at Rosemead High School and other schools in the El Monte Union High School District (EMUHSD). Student leaders have risen to the cause due to the inaction of EMUHSD staff who not only endangered students with improper safety measures against predatory teachers, but furthered and shielded student abuse from the public for over 40 years. 3 former RHS students have filed a lawsuit against EMUHSD because of this, alleging there was a toxic culture of silence that made sexual abuse rampant.

The following link details the internal failures of district institutions that allowed predators to roam freely on campus, and the following demands EMUHSD must agree to in order to maintain its promise to create and maintain a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
