Instead of advocating for Bermuda's citizens, our regulator seems ineffective, allowing service providers to prioritize profit over public satisfaction and service quality.

Bermuda deserves a robust regulatory system that holds service providers accountable and ensures that they operate transparently and deliver the high-quality service for which we pay a premium. To achieve this, we call for urgent reforms, including:

1. Establishing clear and enforceable standards for service quality and consumer protection.
2. Increasing transparency in the regulator's operations and decisions, providing regular reports to the public.
3. Creating a direct and local customer service mandate, ensuring that issues can be addressed by representatives familiar with Bermuda's context.
4. Implementing regular audits of service providers to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

The time for change is now. We must insist on a regulatory body that genuinely advocates for the people and demands excellence from service providers. Let us unite in this effort to bring accountability, transparency, and quality back to Bermuda's telecommunications and energy sectors.
