📢 Petition Statement
We, the concerned citizens and taxpayers of Ontario, call for urgent government action and full accountability following the revelation of a massive $60 million procurement fraud scheme at Victoria Hospital, part of the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC).

For over a decade (2013–2024), hospital executives, contractors, and associated companies allegedly engaged in a deliberate abuse of public trust—manipulating bids, inflating invoices, and using taxpayer funds for personal and business gain.

This is a betrayal of Ontarians who expect honesty, transparency, and proper stewardship of their hard-earned money. Our healthcare system, already under financial pressure, cannot afford such corruption.

 
⚖️ We Demand:
A full public inquiry into the fraud, including timelines, individuals involved, and systemic failures.
Criminal prosecution of those responsible, where applicable, in addition to civil lawsuits.
Immediate release of the forensic audit summary to the public.
Tighter provincial oversight of hospital procurement and financial controls.
Annual transparency reports from LHSC and similar institutions moving forward.

$60 million could fund hospital beds, staff, life-saving equipment, and mental health services.
LHSC is now facing a $150 million operating deficit.

We urge the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Auditor General, and Premier Doug Ford’s government to take immediate and decisive action. Corruption at this scale must not be allowed to fade quietly. We will not stand by while our tax dollars are stolen and essential health services suffer.
