For months now, I and countless other users of the Meta Quest have faced mounting frustration with the simplified interface that was introduced in the latest updates. What was once intuitive and seamlessly functional has become cumbersome and inefficient, leaving many of us feeling like navigating the device is more of a chore than a pleasure.

The recent tweak to simplify the user interface has undoubtedly not gone in favor of enhancing user experience. Instead, it has removed easily accessible features, forcing users to click through multiple menus just to complete simple tasks. This oversimplification might have been well-intentioned, but the results have made something already familiar feel alien and daunting.

Meta Quest's previous interface was engaging and provided users with a seamless navigation experience, something that millions of users had grown familiar with. We, the users, form a community ready and willing to engage with the amazing virtual worlds Meta offers, but the current UI is acting as a barrier rather than an enabler.

We propose a collaborative solution, urging Meta to engage with its user base actively.
