Demand a Thorough Investigation of Pomona Court House's Unjust Practices

The Issue

I speak not only as a concerned citizen, but also as a desperate parent whose child has suffered due to the unjust practices of Pomona Court House. The maltreatment of my son began when he was seven and has persisted, exacerbated by the court's refusal to grant him a restraining order against his abusers.

Pomona Court House blatantly continues to favor unfit parties in child custody cases and the dismissal of valid restraining orders. Its lack of consideration for the wellbeing of children involved in custody cases is particularly distressing. Regrettably, my son’s plea for a restraining order was tied to our custody battle and unjustly denied, leaving him in a tormenting and harmful situation.

Nationwide studies indicate that as many as 58,000 children a year are ordered into unsupervised contact with physically or sexually abusive parents following divorce in the US (source: Resounding Books' "Statistics on How Family Courts Handle Abuse Cases"). This is a gross violation of children's rights and a significant contributing factor to child abuse, with Pomona Court House serving as an example of this harsh reality.

The failure of the court to offer protection to the innocent and vulnerable is a grave concern. We request that the relevant authorities conduct a thorough investigation into these disturbing practices of Pomona Court House. We cannot stand idle while children continue to be placed in harm's way because of unfair and questionable judicial processes. We implore you to join us in this fight for justice for our children.
