Brilliant news on our petition for a more reliable 433 bus service. It has now reached over 100 signatures and is nearly at 110. This is a big achievement for the local area.
I’m proud to announce that TfL have written to me stating that they have “passed the details of the campaign to the bus operator and the Service Performance Team so they can review the service in more detail. They will look at the recent performance data, operational challenges, and any potential changes required to improve reliability on Route 433”.
This is a massive achievement. I have also noticed that TfL have adjusted the 433 timetable on some early morning and late night services to better reflect the actual arrival time at East Croydon Station so the bus doesn’t leave earlier than scheduled.
However, around 80% of the 433 timetable still doesn’t reflect this, and the frequent early terminations on this route are still not solved. I’m keeping the petition open for now and will continue emailing TfL to push for more reliability.
