My name is Beth, a woman who deeply believes in the power of democracy and the fundamental right of self-determination. It feels incredibly personal to me when a man, oblivious to the experiences inherent to possessing a uterus, is somehow bestowed the power to command mine. Thus, it deeply unsettles me that the cornerstone of our democracy - free and fair elections - has possibly been undermined with a staggering 20 million votes unaccounted for. According to the Pew Research Center, an informed guess suggests that 20 million uncounted votes could potentially sway an election result. 

In the name of preserving the cornerstone of our democracy and to ensure that every vote counts, it is time for us to rise. It is time for us to demand a recount of these uncounted votes in the election that decided Donald Trump's presidency.
