Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition! In just 5 days, over 150 people signed to support the demand for a fair union election. Over 50 are AFGE members... Majority of whom are members of Local 62. 

As many of you may already know, I, Linh am not running for office in this union election. However, AFGE leadership has chosen to treat me as a disgruntled member who is causing trouble for a personal agenda. My only agenda is to strengthen our union and bring back accountability and transparency so we can reestablish trust in our workforce.

Election notices and ballots have already been sent out and they are filled with blatant legal violations and strongly suggest the incumbents intend to tamper with the ballots. 

The goal of this petition is to demand intervention from national leadership. We will not settle for anything less than having an independent, third party conduct a re-run. If leadership refuses to acknowledge this plea for assistance, then this petition will serve as proof that they have chosen to ignore the concerns of their members and the public. 

Currently, the deadline for internal voting is Nov. 17th and there's no signature limit to this petition. So please keep sharing and let's get more signatures!
