Botswana has started selling licenses to trophy hunters to kill elephants. 

A bold decision which has not been based on scientific fact and will have devastating effects on elephant herds.  This ill fated decision will not lessen any human wildlife conflict but rather the opposite there will be more conflict as the elephants will be frightened. 

Similarly no forethought seems to have been considered about how the eco tourists who are responsible for one fifth of Botswana’s economy will react. 

How many of the licenses will be bought by trophy hunters from the USA?
