Delta Airlines must make a clear, public commitment: never again will it participate in deportation flights - chartered or commercial, direct or disguised.

In 2019, Delta facilitated 266 deportation flights for ICE. These were not ordinary flights. They were forced returns, tearing families apart, sending people who were seeking refuge back into danger, and quietly aiding a system built on cruelty.

Now, as ICE looks to renew and expand partnerships with carriers like Avelo Airlines, which recently entered into an agreement to assist with deportation flights, Delta has a choice to make.

Do not be complicit.

Flight attendants have spoken up. Communities have taken a stand. It’s time for Delta to act with the same moral courage.

Delta cannot control immigration policy, but it can control its role in it. We are not asking for politics. We are asking for principles.

Delta must vow never to fly deportation flights again.
