June 4, 2020 , Deloitte released a statement to their website saying they stand against “systemic bias, racism, and unequal treatment”. But earlier today, July 1, 2020, it seems that that message has went out the window. Claira used to work there up until they fired her for using her platform to speak up about the BLM movement. They were pressured to make this decision after people on Twitter blew up her message and twist it to make up a story. This petition aims to spread awareness of this issue.
