Delaware North must follow through on its animal welfare commitments!

The Issue

One of the largest foodservice providers in the US is deceiving its customers and clients. Arenas, hotels, airports, casinos, national and state parks, and entertainment venues use Delaware North Companies as their primary food service provider. The company is even ranked as one of the world’s largest privately held companies by Forbes magazine, which means Delaware North holds a lot of power—and responsibility to follow through on the promises it makes.

Delaware North claims to be “committed to sustainability and responsible stewardship.” However, the multibillion-dollar corporation was recently featured in The Humane League's Foodservice Provider Guide, which calls on Delaware North to do better for the millions of animals who are suffering horrific cruelty in its supply chains.

Sadly, the vast majority of animals raised for Delaware North’s clients live a life of constant misery:

This is unacceptable treatment. And there is nothing “sustainable” or “responsible” about it.

Delaware North needs to end its support of these terrible factory farming practices once and for all.

Companies must follow through on commitments that they make. Otherwise, it’s just broken promises, continued corporate greed, and no implemented improvements to animal welfare.

It’s time for Delaware North to stop hiding behind empty promises and make real progress for the animals and for its clients.

Please join us in telling Delaware North to do the right thing and stop serving animal cruelty by signing and sharing this petition.
