The British public has had enough of being forced to pay for a biased, outdated, and overpaid institution. The TV licence fee is set to rise again, this time by £5 to a staggering £174.50 next year. For what? Mediocre programming, one-sided news coverage riddled with lies, and a track record of protecting controversial figures.

We have no choice but to pay this fee, making it nothing short of a state-sanctioned protection racket. The BBC is radically left-wing, forcing its political agenda into our homes while ignoring the voices of millions. Meanwhile, its executives and presenters enjoy bloated salaries, funded by hard-working Britons who see little value in return.

Let’s not forget the horrific scandals, including years of protecting pedophile presenters. This is not an institution worthy of public trust or funding. The time has come to put an end to this mandatory tax on our entertainment and demand accountability.
