Defend the Constitution: Demand Accountability and Limits on Presidential Power

The Issue

PETITION TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION AND DEMAND EXECUTIVE ACCOUNTABILITY

We, the undersigned members of the United States Armed Forces, veterans, and concerned citizens, stand united in our demand for accountability, transparency, and constitutional integrity from the President of the United States and his administration.

Our concerns include:

- Misuse of taxpayer funds for personal gain and excessive person travel using resources that we collectively own.

- Undermining of long-standing international alliances while empowering known adversaries.

- Attempts to erode due process, suppress free speech, and strip immigrants of constitutional protections.

- Disrespect for service members and efforts to reduce veterans' benefits and healthcare.

- Abuse of the presidential pardon power to shield allies from justice.

- Extreme negligence by exposing our nation's cybersecurity infrastructure to Russia, a known adversary.

- The erosion of trust in executive leadership and refusal to adhere to the same standards requiredof countless government personnel.

We demand that Congress and the Judiciary:

1. Enact legislation capping taxpayer-funded personal travel and requiring 100% reimbursement for visits to properties owned by the sitting president.

2. Codify enforcement of the Emoluments Clause and mandate divestment from personal businesses, immediately.

3. Amend the Constitution to limit presidential pardon power and allow criminal prosecution of sitting presidents.

4. Establish a civilian oversight board to monitor executive overreach and recommend curtailment of unchecked powers.

5. Protect due process for all individuals, regardless of citizenship status, now.

6. Guarantee freedom of speech and the press from executive intimidation and retaliation. We must allow criminal charges against any representative who violates these rights.

7. Require the president, his cabinet members and every member of Congress submit to a CI scoped and Lifestyle polygraph examination, and routine drug testing as required of many in federal service.

We sign this petition not out of partisanship, but out of loyalty to the Constitution we swore to defend.
