Thank you for your support in standing up to bullies, and being prepared to have your name counted when it mattered.

Today I’m asking for your help again. People from all sides of politics are getting behind Doctors Without Borders’ call for the immediate evacuation of all asylum seekers from Nauru, and the end of offshore detention.

Elected officials from both sides of politics have taken up the call. But politics got us here, and it won’t get us out. We have to do that ourselves. By standing up for vulnerable people, we’re standing up for ourselves. Standing up for the Australian character that lends a hand. That stands by people, and not over them.
