Donald Trump has threatened to attack power plants in Iran, stating he would strike “the biggest one first.” Targeting civilian infrastructure is a serious violation of international humanitarian law and would endanger millions of innocent people.

Power plants support hospitals, homes, water systems, and essential services. Attacking them would create a massive humanitarian crisis affecting children, the elderly, patients, and ordinary families.

No one has the right to threaten civilians. No attack on civilian infrastructure can ever be justified.

We call on the United Nations and the international community to:

• condemn any threat against civilian infrastructure;
• reaffirm the obligation to protect civilians under international law;
• take immediate steps to prevent any escalation;
• defend the fundamental principle that human life must be protected.

Donald Trump a menacé d’attaquer des centrales électriques en Iran, en affirmant vouloir frapper “la plus grande en premier”. Une telle menace vise directement des infrastructures civiles, ce qui constitue une violation grave du droit international humanitaire et mettrait en danger des millions de vies innocentes.

Les centrales électriques alimentent les hôpitaux, les écoles, les foyers, les systèmes d’eau potable. Les frapper reviendrait à plonger des populations entières — enfants, personnes âgées, malades — dans une crise humanitaire majeure.

Aucune nation, aucun dirigeant, ne peut menacer des civils. Aucune attaque contre des infrastructures civiles ne peut être tolérée.

Nous demandons aux Nations Unies et à la communauté internationale :

• de condamner clairement toute menace visant des infrastructures civiles;
• de rappeler l’obligation absolue de respecter le droit international humanitaire;
• d’agir pour prévenir toute escalade militaire mettant en danger des populations innocentes;
• de défendre le principe fondamental : la vie des civils n’est pas négociable.

Je lance cette pétition parce que ma famille, mes proches, et des millions d’innocents pourraient être touchés. Parce que l’humanité doit passer avant la violence. Parce que le monde ne peut pas rester silencieux face à des menaces qui ciblent des civils.

دونالد ترامپ به‌طور علنی تهدید کرده است که به نیروگاه‌های برق در ایران حمله خواهد کرد. چنین تهدیدی مستقیماً زیرساخت‌های غیرنظامی را هدف قرار می‌دهد و نقض آشکار حقوق بین‌الملل و اصول انسانی است. این اقدام می‌تواند جان میلیون‌ها انسان بی‌گناه را به خطر بیندازد.

نیروگاه‌های برق در مرکز زندگی روزمره مردم قرار دارند: بیمارستان‌ها، مدارس، خانه‌ها، سیستم آب آشامیدنی و تمام خدمات ضروری به برق وابسته‌اند. حمله به این زیرساخت‌ها برابر است با ایجاد یک بحران انسانی گسترده که کودکان، سالمندان، بیماران و خانواده‌های عادی را قربانی می‌کند.

هیچ کشوری و هیچ فردی حق ندارد غیرنظامیان را تهدید کند.  
هیچ حمله‌ای به زیرساخت‌های غیرنظامی قابل قبول نیست.

ما از سازمان ملل متحد و جامعه جهانی درخواست می‌کنیم:

- هرگونه تهدید علیه زیرساخت‌های غیرنظامی را به‌طور رسمی محکوم کنند؛  
- بر لزوم پایبندی کامل به حقوق بین‌الملل تأکید کنند؛  
- برای جلوگیری از هرگونه تشدید تنش که جان غیرنظامیان را تهدید می‌کند، اقدام فوری انجام دهند؛ 
- از اصل بنیادین حفاظت از جان انسان‌ها دفاع کنند.
