Access to safe, affordable reproductive healthcare is a fundamental human right—but that right is under attack.

The Trump administration and its allies continue pushing dangerous policies to defund providers, restrict abortion access, and roll back critical protections for patients—putting millions at risk, especially low-income individuals, people of color, and those in rural areas.

Illinois has worked hard to protect reproductive freedom, but federal actions threaten to strip away those protections and silence our progress.

We, the undersigned, demand that federal leaders:

Protect and expand access to abortion, contraception, and comprehensive reproductive healthcare
Reinstate Title X funding for trusted community health clinics
Stop all federal interference with states like Illinois that defend reproductive freedom
Enshrine reproductive rights at the national level
Reproductive healthcare is healthcare. Period. No one should be denied care because of where they live, how much money they make, or who’s in office.
