As many of you know, today 9/13/21 the stuco deer lakes letter was sent out on the details of homecoming. It is stated in these details that we are not allowed to have outside guests. Now considering the circumstances of covid-19 it is understood that it is hard to plan these types of events in a covid-19 free way. However, it is not understood by many as to why we will not be able to have outside guests if at the football games people are allowed to be mask free and be shoulder to shoulder. Also during these high school football games many random people are allowed to come mask free. The people we want to  bring we are already with when we aren't at school. Even if you are vaccinated you can still carry it which makes no sense if you're contact traced to stay in school, so it no different from if vaccinated outsiders came! It seems very confusing and unfair, especially to the members of the senior class who most of their guests are graduated and considered "outside guests". This petition is not meant to be something to cause mass drama or political arguments but it is simply being used to give seniors and all class members a voice in what they think is right. So please if you think that we should be able to have outside guests at homecoming. And are willing to take any precautions necessary that the school district orders if they change it to being able to have outside guests, sign the Petition!!!
