When we originally reached out to county council we were told that legislation to rename a county facility for someone has not been done as there are numerous individuals in our community who have contributed to athletics and the facilities are often shared across multiple sports. This petition was created because Field E is the ONLY dedicated rugby field in all of Kona and Coach John deserves the recognition
