I'd ask every petition signer to read this thoughtful essay by a gun owner who clearly has no use for the NRA. Please share broadly, as it would be great to have gun owners sign the petition. Why would a gun owner sign? Because destroying the legitimacy of the NRA could be a huge step toward gun owners' concerns being more accurately represented. To quote the author: "[the NRA] tries to identify itself as a sportsmen's group, but few of its stances reflect the will of sportsmen."
