Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for your support in this campaign to save the Tule Elk and to save wildlife and the integrity of our national seashore.

We are gearing up with our public outreach as the public comment period is fast approaching that will directly impact the lives of the elk and how the park will be managed for the next 20+ years.

I'd like to invite you all to attend the upcoming (free) film screening of The Shame of Point Reyes where you will get to see what's at stake.  Documentary filmmaker Skyler Thomas and others of the forELK team will be present to answer any questions after the screening.

Thursday, April 25th at 6:30pm
at Google Space - Main Room
188 The Embarcadero
San Francisco, CA 94105

Registration here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/saving-point-reyes-national-seashore-tickets-59464786778

And, please keep the petition going!  Share with your friends!  We will be hand delivering this petition (in addition to hand written public comments and letters) to the Park this summer.  Every person and voice counts.  We have a lot of work to do, but together it will get done.

Thank you so much,
Diana

PS.  The photo was from a successful "nature day" event in Point Reyes with Laura Cunningham.  We walked to several spots in the park, including this forgotten hillside that has been ungrazed by cattle and so showcases rare, native grasses and dozens of native wildflowers. We will host another one in June so keep you eyes open at www.forELK.org for updated events!
