Hello everyone! After our petition delivery and the Board of Governors meeting on Wednesday, the NCAA recently released this statement: https://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/media-center/news/board-urges-legislation-address-sexual-violence This is a great first step! And not only that, but it means our voices were heard! Thank you once again for supporting my petition, but THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER!!! Please continue to share my petition. We need to push this committee to do the right thing. My mom, Brenda Tracy, will be one of the members of this committee, and I know she will do a great job! In the meantime, I'm going to keep gathering petition signatures and raising awareness around the issue of violent athletes. I've even considered going on the road to speak with my mom! This process has really inspired me, and I hope it has for you too. If you missed it, you can check us out delivering your signatures to the NCAA here: https://www.facebook.com/change.org/videos/10155191596768079/. Thanks to your support, we received great media coverage of the campaign -- from the Associated Press to ESPN and NBC Sports to many Indianapolis media outlets. We also had the chance to meet with NCAA officials at their offices after they accepted our signatures. Thank you for doing this with me! Darius
