It’s time to allow what BC has wanted for over a decade, and it’s time for the PTBoard.bc.ca to make it happen. Ridesharing has never been the same since Uber was invented in San Fransisco in 2008, and since that time has never been allowed into our provinces vast geography (save YVR). The early 2020 introduction of Uber into Vancouver was so successful that its usage here is now double that of taxis.

  In August 2020 Uber Canada applied for an extra-regional expansion, an application that was similar to their successful YVR application of 2019.
