The Peter A. Allard Law School Must Keep its Students and Faculty Safe

The Peter A. Allard Law School Must Keep its Students and Faculty Safe
The Issue
The Peter A. Allard School of Law's administration has refused to listen to law students’ concerns of COVID-19, and it’s time to make them hear us loud and clear. While some students are happy to be back to in-person classes starting January 24th of 2022, many are feeling scared for their health and the health of their loved ones. This is not about removing anyone's choice to learn in-person. Law students deserve the CHOICE to learn remotely should they choose to. No one should have to decide between an education or their life. Please sign onto our demands below in solidarity with your fellow Disabled and immunocompromised colleagues.
Demand #1: Provide ALL Allard students with easily accessible livestreams and/or recordings of class lectures.
Demand #2: Offer Allard students and Faculty a personal supply of PPE to increase classroom safety measures, such as N95/KN95 masks.
Demand #3: Allow Allard students to complete any required course evaluations remotely, including final exams.
Demand #4: Ensure that students who require remote learning are offered access to necessary electronic materials, such as loaned personal laptops/tablets.
