TDSB has recently announced a mark freeze for all highschool secondary students within the Toronto District School Board. This measure was put in place to alleviate stress put on thousands of students as a result of the school closures & remote learning put in place by the Ford government. Unfortunately, the DDSB has yet to get on board with the same measures as the TDSB, leaving students feeling unfairly treated and hopeless as to what their grades will entail with everything that's going on right now. 

As a student myself, I believe that that high school students in the Durham District School Board deserve the same advantage to compensate for the sudden switches from in-person to remote learning. I hope the DDSB takes this petition into consideration,
