Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for your continued support. We now have over 2,000 signatures! 

There is just one week left to submit an objection to Sedgemoor District Council to help them decide to refuse permission for the chicken 'farm' site owner to continue breaching their planning permission. Refusal could lead to enforcement action being taken or the company taking such a hit financially, they are forced to shut down the operation. 

As you can see from the photo taken just this week, the operator has little concern for animal welfare. We know these poor birds are being loaded for their journey to the slaughterhouse but for that one bird in particular, whose wing will be crushed by the crates, the journey will be suffered in agony. This is the price of cheap chicken :-(

We need this to stop for so many reasons, so please add your weight to the case by submitting an objection. Please go to the latest news section of our website for more details or go straight to the planning portal to object before the 6 October deadline.
