In an interesting development, officers at Sedgemoor District Council have requested that your responses to this petition be included as formal representations to the current application. This would greatly increase the number of objections and show the weight of public opinion against the operation of the chicken 'farm', so thank you again for your help. We have yet to see what effect this will have but I will keep you posted on any further developments. In the meantime, please continue to share the petition and encourage others to sign it too - it's important to maintain or, even better, increase the momentum you have all gathered so far. We now have support worldwide, from as far away as Australia and Brazil, the United States and Japan, just about every European country, and of course across the UK. It's humbling to know that people across the world share our concern and offer their support in this way - thank you so much :-)
