250 More Farmers Joins The Culling

Thank You for your amazing support, we have just broken the 8000 signature mark. But there is still work to be done. Just recently another 10,000 badgers were culled. The worst part is culling the badgers won't make a difference. The government is taking the lives of an innocent, beautiful animal being scapegoated. Recently it was proven that infected cows can transfer TB to the badgers. When a badger enters infected farmland they are a risk of catching the TB. Only 6% of cases are shown to be badger to cattle transmission, the other 94% is from cattle to cattle transmission. Instead of addressing the source of the TB infection, the government has decided the best method is to shoot an innocent animal. Improved sanitary conditions and cattle vaccination has been proven to prevent the spread of TB. Culling the badgers aren't even a temporary solution, it literally does nothing to contain the spreading of TB. Time is of the essences, another 250 farmers have joined in on the badger culling.
