The number of COVID-19 infected patients is surging in the United States. This number includes frontline healthcare workers who are getting sick and forced to self-quarantine, removing them from the care of patients. Healthcare systems in states hit hardest, like New York, are seeing their facilities reach capacity and are making urgent pleas for healthcare workers to join the fight. Doctors and Nurses are needed on the frontline to fight COVID. Currently, testing facilities like Pearson Vue and Prometric are closed and are reported to reopen on April 16th. It is unclear if this date will be extended. This delay has the potential to postpone licensure for much-needed frontline workers. These businesses are essential to the licensing of newly graduated healthcare professionals who can support the healthcare systems in this time of need. Once designated as an essential business, they can begin to plan and implement safety measures and procure hygienic products to ensure that test takers are taking exams in safe environments.
Thank you for supporting us as we make our transition into the workforce to help our patients and the community. We're all in this together!!!
